MEET The pilot
Steven Fair
Southern Terrestrial Imaging was founded by Steven Fair in 2019. Steven has been a manned pilot since the late 70’s and has 34 years of commercial maintenance experience.
He has been a commercial UAV pilot for 4 years and has experience in all types of UAV work, including large area mapping, solar, telcom inspections, and video editing.
He has been FAA licensed for 4 years with a night waver.
“Working in the drone service industry has given me the opportunity to combine two of my passions – aviation and photography. I have been a maned pilot since the late 70s and in more recent years, a professional photographer before I discovered a way to combine the two. I love to see a client’s face the first time they see a job I completed for them and they say, ‘I didn’t know drone would do that’ or ‘that turned out so much better than I imagined!’ I am a small company that really lives by the phrase: ‘under promise and overdeliver.’”
